![]() ![]() Re: Field Test / Review of the Pulsar Digisight N550 Rifle Scope - Long Read with photos and videos ![]() I noticed this then checked to be sure it was off each time, only to discover upon reopening the case later that it got turned on again in handling. The location of the power switch has seemed to lend itself to getting turned on when the weapon is in my gun case (soft). I'll use monocular/binoculars for scanning. At this point I would not use the scope for scanning purposes so as to insure I have power for the scope when needed. Are you using an alternative power source? I've noticed these things eat batteries very quickly. My eyes aren't what they once were, so this was a welcomed improvement. So far I have experienced no issues with it and the magnification is crystal clear. In researching this I found the Sony 2.0 that I am using which really does double it to 9.0. Just for clarification, I believe you added the 1.7 telephoto which really doesn't double, but takes it to 7.65 mag. Bob's piece? Will they ship that from the UK without the lense? I'm using a rubber product I found at Lowes to hold and mount my lense, but the Dr. I just got the Digisight for Christmas and have been playing with it.
